Generally speaking, all registrars must be compliant with ICANN rules, and dot coms fall under VeriSign and US laws. Registrars are required to know their clients.
While nothing is bulletproof, one can set up to be bullet resistant. It requires many things, including but not limited to the following:
-forming companies in those countries that do not have treaties with the US
-having Directors whose citizenship and residency is not affected by the regulations one wishes to avoid being accountable to
- having banking and merchant accounts in countries which do not have treaties with the US or other countries with similar laws
- hosting in countries where privacy is respected and subpoenas for information are ignored because it is against that countries laws to provide such information,
- and ultimately .. keeping more than an arms distance personallyin managing aforementioned companies, bank accounts, hosting, etc. so as not be associated with any activity which may be in violation of some countries laws.
Good luck!
