What I came to realize from many testing is most people are lazy and hate searching stuff themselves. If you make a clear enough listing that keep it simple but as well explains all the key factors and benefits they can obtain going with you for what ever it is.It makes your chances more likely to convert to what you are trying to accomplish. Yes there are a lot of spammy and flaky responses but if your listing is clear simple and sounds rewarding to respond it increases your outcome to the listing. Same concept for creating sponsor ads, google ads etc..
