Just heard that song by CCR. I’ve read how people sang the words wrong for years. Tonight I sang along with the wrong lyrics and it sounded legitimate

“There’s a bad moon rising” is correct
“There’s a bathroom on the right” sounds almost real

John Fogerty isn’t always perfectly clear when singing but toilet songs weren’t in their arsenal.

Any song lyrics that you sang wrong for years? I’m sure I’ll think of many when I’m trying to sleep tonight.
