It's a toss up between the 50s and the 80s.
The 50s were my teenage and young adult years. Jobs and money were easy to come by, customer service was impeccable, food had flavor, and for the most part you always knew where you stood with someone.
The 80s was back to making money hand over fist, if someone didn't uphold their end of a deal you just kicked them to the curb and moved on to the next, young people were still willing to work hard for a dollar and the majority of women were telling feminists to eat shit.
Back then we had churches teaching kids about morals. Today we've got queers teaching kids that men can have babies and periods.
And the level of girly men screaming "it's not fair" and being scared of their own shadows is so unbelievable that our society is practically dystopian.
