Similarly to German, we have words that don't exist in the english language and to translate requires 3-4 words. They can write that shit out with subtitles, but you can't dub 4 words in the place of 1 so the sentence has to be changed entirely and sometimes it doesn't "pack the same punch".

The plagues movie is not a netflix original. The guy actually made it as a showmax exclusive, and then basically right as he was going to release it they closed up shop in Poland and he was left without a distributor. They probably bought exclusive rights or struck some deal.

That Skrzydlate świnie one is called Flying Pigs in english.

Just to be very clear - most polish movies are complete dog shit. What I've written here are the outliers
