Pearl Jam's debut album "Ten" is, by far, their best album
...and not a single one of their subsequent albums even comes close to being as good as Ten.
How is this possible?
Of course they are one of the bands with the most longevity in the business, as they have continued to make new music and tour and build a humungous fan base over the years, but their new music just never seems as good as that first album.
Talk about peaking early;-). Maybe they just set the bar too high!
