the global illumination and the 'niagara' flocking "animal particles" are a nice touch, seemed refined but imperfect. a bit of smoke and mirrors here and there but pretty nice. i didn't dig the clothes simulation and the animation switches weren't seamless either (maybe a gamer culture thing, people want immediate control, i like the opposite like in gta 5 though..), plus convolution reverb is nothing new (and didn't even conceal the near-field recorded foley on stuff happening 30ft away from you but nvm)...
alas, still a pretty neat engine, these polygon count wars are getting out of hand for sure. i am still waiting for the moment when instead of environment, characters will be in focus so they crawl out of the uncanny valley.
