The quality of content? Yes, of course, but if two sites have comparable quality content, the one with this system will outperform the other. It'll be a measurable difference too (avg time on site, pages per visit, etc.)
Could something like this system be done as a WordPress plugin if its only job was to handle the related content block? There are plenty of "related posts" plugins with thousands of sales, and even the super pro deluxe models of these plugins wouldn't compete with this kind of performance testing.
If anyone is out there who knows this stuff... make this and you will be able to sell it. Not just for porn sites, either. I might look in to getting something custom done, but I know I would definitely buy something like this if it was available.
It would use more server resources, but that's the only downside I can think of. So if anyone wants to get this done freelance, you better make sure the developer knows how to optimize and can test this at a decent scale. That's my concern with getting it done for myself.
