I agree with k0nr4d that its a bit gimmicky and not very user friendly.
Experiments are fun and you should do a few more
maybe a way to change the "scan thumbnails for something nice" scroll scroll scroll -> next page -> scroll scroll scroll -> next page.. (automatically load new thumbs on the viewport while removing old ones, on click have the option watch the video or go deeper into the rabbit hole by showing only related thumbnails of that video)
