Well, let's think about this logically for a minute:
For aliens to arrive at Earth, they would need to have the technology to travel between stars, something that is far, far more advanced than our most advanced technology. Such travel would put them, at a minimum, several hundred years ahead of where we are today.
In addition, they would have to have been using this tech for generations in order to end up here on earth. After all, the likelihood that they just accidentally ended up at Earth out of all the possible destinations would be zilch. If this was their first interstellar mission, and Earth was intentional, it would have to be because they became aware of us. In that case, they would either want to contact us or study us. Contact would undoubtedly mean sending messages first. Study would undoubtedly be done from a distance first, not a "manned" mission out the gate.
So, this whole idea that the government is in possession of alien corpses and a crashed alien ship is preposterous. With the tech that the alien's must have to get here, and a mission that involved examination and study in advance, how, exactly, are we to believe that a ship crashed?
I'd say that the odds of aliens being here, just for these reasons alone, is absolutely zero.
There are plenty of other reasons, but what's the point. Once you have a solid argument that puts the odds at 0%, you really don't need any more.
