Really dissapoonted with the new amazon prime video app...
Sounded good - Like the netflix one. Just amazon prime video, in a separate app for windows. Nothing but the videos. No ads for lawn mowers or stuff to purchase. Nope, seperate from the rest of amazon, allowing you to enjoy the videos you've paid for in prime, without interruption...
So what's wrong? Well, to begin with, you have a max of 1080p - Even if you have a 4K monitor, you are stuck with HD. Then the sound. Does Not include dolby, or surround sound, even though they are options in browser or on TV apps. Infact its really quiet, requiring the volume to be raised much higher than normal usage levels...
And (the pisser for me) it doesn't include an 'on top' mode, where you can resize the window to your liking, and position it 'on top' of your other windows and continue using the computer...
Very dissapoonting amazon. 1 Turd out of 5 - Must try harder...
