Hey there,
No longer want to be in the adult webspace so decided to sell my project that was running on autopilot for a while now. Content is being fetched from reddit, but due to the nature of how redgifs.com work, majority of content gets removed eventually. System automatically deletes videos that no longer exist on redgifs.
It costs $10 to run this site, $5 dollars for live site hosting and $5 for dev site from which updates are being pushed.
System is custom built by me on PHP Laravel framework, the code is professionally done so there will be no issue for anyone who knows Laravel to work with it.
In terms of revenue, I would say I made about $300 since it was launched in September 2019.
Link to the site can be found in my signature.
Last 30 days traffic, goals show registered users in last 30 days.
Site comes with 2.6k registered users.
Sites DR18, UR23
Asking 4.2k USD paid in BTC OBO.
Few justifications for anyone who wondering why I'm asking this price:
I have assigned value of $0.10 per each user which is $260. Users were never emailed any newsletters of anything like that.
Since domain is highly brand-able I value domain about $1k.
It would cost you minimum of $2-3k to build similar type of website if not more at the same level of quality and optimization. Site handles 300-400 online at the same time without degrading performance on $5 dollar droplet.
I successfully sold backlink for $200 a year, so no one stops you from getting some value back out of that, $1k can be made back fairly quick just by selling 5 backlinks for a year.
I have received multiple offers to sell copy of the platform for $1k-2k, but I haven't done that as I had bigger plans for this brand, so you can def get your money back by simply selling white label copy of the system few times.
Obviously there is some value in current organic traffic and existing backlink profile, but I do not have enough experience to evaluate what that maybe worth.
If no will be buying it at my asking price I will consider selling copies.
