Most of those slots are taken by big players repeat buying month after month so it's hard to "get in there" (I'm looking at YOU Porn Dude lol).

As it is for NTV and ad spots, so it is for nav bar and hard link placements, in my experience. Most of the good ones are snapped up very quickly when they become available.
I brokered these for a while, but there was a lot of wasted time chasing deals, imo.
