I still have my PS3 that I bought in 2006 and it still works fine. I'm not a gamer but I use it for movies.
I'm thinking about getting a PS5 but I'm getting a gaming laptop this x-mas (gaming systems will hold up better to the 20+ tabs I end up having open on my 2 monitors)
