So lets say its legalized like in the states, or canada etc. Now, you can go to proper places, and choose from a wide variety of different strains, that are top quality, with no unwanted additives etc, and you can purchase, (or not) and go about your day...

Now those that cant afford to go to the 'new' places can still carry on getting their stuff as normal. Nothing changes for them, but for those of us wanting a quality product, without having to associate with 'the criminal elements' can enjoy a new world of freedom.

What's more though, those 'criminal elements' will no longer actually be criminals anymore, so everyone's a winner !

I see it a bit like booze during prohibition. You could still get a drink, if you wanted, but choice was still limited and you were breaking the law. Without prohibition (ie nowadays - Covid aside) you can choose from many different pub/bar/boozer experiences, from a dive bar in a back alley, to cocktails at the ritz in top hat and tails and anything in between.

Its all about letting consenting adults choose what they want to do recreationally, and at the same time bringing in tax to the government at the same time. Its 2020. Nearly 2021. I think I can make up my own mind if I choose to smoke a plant that grows naturally on this planet, in the privacy of my own home, without the technicality that I am breaking the law and committing an illegal act...

We all know the only reason tobacco and alcohol are legal, is because they can tax it. So make weed legal, and tax that as well. Simples... & a lot less harmful too...
You can try to tear down this argument in favor of legalization with logic or emotion and you'll fail.
