Nobody mentioned the huge fees for ATM withdrawals even if you get the money directly in USD. I didn't requested it but they sent me the card anyway. One thing is for sure, I wouldn't use it or even activate it.
On the other hand can anyone confirm me that using SEPA card to withdraw in other currency has meanwhile become more pricy than it used to be few weeks ago? I got some cash in EUR three weeks ago and the Paxum gave me something like 0.814 EUR for USD even the official exchange rate from Mastercard (the card issuer) was over 0.85 EUR for USD on that day. And no, the bank ATM I've used has nothing to do with with this bad rate. They only charge a fixed commission if you choose to withdraw without conversion (which I did). So can anyone who regularly withdraw in EUR from SEPA USD card can confirm that the exchange rate offered by Paxum gotten worse lately?
