I charge $150 to $200 for 500 words. Some people do think that's a big price, but plenty of others pay it. $18 is so cheap, I wouldn't expect to get 500 words of original idiomatic prose, well-written by a native speaker of English. Not a big enough price.

these are the posts for SEO purposes so the price mainly depends on the site where the posts are published. writing can be cheap, I pay $5 for a 500 word post (1c/word).
