Looks like it's now official for MasterCard! Radio-Canada just announced it.
Now that MC did it, you bet Visa will follow.
Obviously, any bank they are doing biz with will be under strong pressure to kick them out as well. I don't see how they will be able to keep any bank account in Canada or USA.
