I did okay until I became a United States Marine. It's the strangest thing. As a eighteen year old Marine when I went home I could bang any chick I wanted. Every chick who ignored me all through high school suddenly wanted to bang. But when I back to Jacksonville, NC, home of Camp Lejeune.... I suddenly became a nobody - one of fifty thousand other Marines trying to bang a handful of chicks. The competition was freaking fierce; There was one woman to every ten Marines and the dating pool was less than impressive. It was a real eye opener.
