You all talking like there was no free verified content. The whole thing is about the unverified stuff random people uploaded and it's totally ok that ph disabled and delete this.
There will be still enough free verified content from creators that upload full videos and tubes can embed these. Everyone profit - the creators get the views and make money with their viewshare and additional monetisations and the tubes have content.
Paysites will not profit in any way of this, cause people who prefer to watch ads instead will not change their mind now. There will be always these 2 options - pay for something or watch advertising that pays for you.
