nvme is faster than a standard ssd as it doesn't need to use the sata 3 pooticle (or that's how I understand it

I do have a question about using a SSD and SATA drive. if I use a video editor and it saves a 10 min video to a SATA drive.. would it save faster if I saved it to the SSD drive? I figure that because the video editor is on the SSD that it renders faster but if it could do it faster if I saved to the SSD I'll do it.
