Actually, provided your motherboard supports it (ie is relatively new) order a nvme.2 (Samsung - Like I use) off of amazon. Then plug it into your motherboard.
Do a fresh install of windows (plus editing poogram) onto that drive and boot from it - Using boot menu in bios - and give it a try... That way its working with all your hardware, but not interrupting / interfering with your files / current setup. All your files will still be accessible from the other drives that will still show up as drives...
If you are not blown away, just format it, and return to amazon - No problem
