Sounds like the processor is working too hard and getting hot. I have this happen on my desktop if I am in a graphically intense program or doing 3d rendering or gaming. Mostly only happens in Windows, I never hear my fan in Linux...

I also have an HP laptop with the same issue... fine under normal operation, however, if I have too much open the fan spins out of control LOL.

You can try to upgrade the fan to a better one to keep your machine cooler, or change some start up features to lessen the load on boot. And there is always the possibility you got a defective part. It does happen from time to time. It's new, under warranty, take it in.

You can also get a laptop (stand?) with fans to help keep it cool.
