No writer worth their salt is going to put together a 6000-word article based on research for $120.

The first post was pretty much spot on. $800 and up for that kind of job.

Think at least 10 - 15 cents per word.

I charge $0.065 per word for basic stuff and higher for "serious" articles.
Of course, no research/images/tables. 1c/word is for simple blog posts, 2c/word for reviews.
