Actually.... The reality is while they have "tiers" the reality is the people actually giving the shots don't care, and if you just show up you might be able to just get a shot. The reality is they have "x" amount of doses to give out per day and every day a certain amount of people don't show up so they always have extra.
A friend of mine works for Kaiser and when it was only 65+ she told me that if you show up at the end of the day they always have extra and they will give the shots to whomever. They either give the shot to someone or it's wasted.
They just opened it up to 50+ yesterday, and I am getting my shot in about an hour.
