There's hope here for a NZ-Aus travel bubble opening this week.

Most testing with planes was done with the old easy to manage covid19, but those easy days are over we're now dealing with variants that within just 12 months they've become 2.3X more spreadable and certainly affecting younger age groups.

We have studied the flu for over a 100 years and its never done anything remotely like this.

Unless an area is Covid free, all flying will achieve is spreading it from one place to another place. We're in a sprint not a marathon.
