While I agree with some of the things that you initially said about their page and direction I kinda have to say your client (or your project) luive.com looks not much better.
The page aims only at creators and nothing for fans, it gives me the vibe of someone forgot to change the demo color scheme in a template and it does not work particularly well on certain resolutions.
Also I suggest to read the terms again, because there seems to be confusion on what is your actual company name...
