I've tried cams from Crak Revenue. It was a flop as well.
Cams aren't a good fit for my niche. Most people in my niche want movies and novels. There isn't a demand for cam models or sessions.
I am trying cams again after reading everyone's advice.
I go into my details about my only conversions in my response to EddyTheDog.

I've been a member at Crak for over a year without zero conversations. I honestly gave up on it after six or eight months.
I recently am trying it again to see how it goes. I don't have high hopes.

Whatever niche you have there will be a successful girl/guy on the cam sites you can push.....
Reviews always go down well - Especially if you get a lot of return traffic - It means they trust you - For traditional pay sites Gammae are still in the game...
Don't be afraid to check what others in your niche are promoting - In fact that's the first thing you should do.....

My return traffic is decent and I have regulars who comment on reviews of movies.
My website's only conversations are sales from Smashwords. My niche has hardcore porn films. My traffic is buying erotic novels of the same niche from ads and links on my site.
It may be hard to be believe, but please trust me. I am the only person in my niche for hardcore content. I can't see what others are doing since there aren't any.
