Amsterdam has come a long way, first time I went in 1989 I think and when I stepped out of the train there was a junkie sitting on the stairway from the platform putting a needle in his arm.

And I don't know if this is good or bad, I only know that in cities like Prague and Hamburg it turned into a clown show with idiots from all over the world coming to only get fucked up drunk and destroying stuff. And living in these cities has become extremely expensive because Airbnb takes thousands of flats off the market.

So personally I don't mind at all if the cities become more quiet and sustainable.
