It depends. If you can look at the person you're with and truly see yourself grow old with them, then sure. But in order to be able to truly do that, you must know that person extremely well.
The issue with marriage these days is that people are so quick to rush into it. I made the same mistake, twice. If you haven't been and lived with someone for at least 5 years, or haven't grown up with them, there is no way in hell you know each other well enough to make such a commitment.
