So you have nothing to gain, yet everything to lose.
Why take that risk ??

Why are you asking what you gain? Why do you need to "gain"? You probably gain a wonderful and kind girl for who you get "exclusive rights" haha
I became pretty upset reading all the comments in this thread, it makes me wonder if all men are so selfish* and lack trust in themselves**?
* its all about what "stuff" you can lose if you divorce. If I would get divorced the last things I would worry about would be the "stuff" , the properties (I worked for) the neat cars (I worked for) : I would worry about I won't be able to be there for my kids on a daily basis anymore and that maybe there will be a totally stranger guy stepping in my home telling my kids how to live their lives, who would later maybe share their secrets with this guy Not Me!
** You seriously think that with age and experience you can't reproduce the "stuff" + money again? :D :D
...sigh...
Getting old alone, with lots of money and assets, etc, with your kids raised by someone else: a fucking nightmare.
Guys, eat some mushrooms or LSD, close your eyes, and spend 3-8 hours with yourselves alone, undisturbed, and re-read your thoughts: you will all cry..
