As was said, the woman usually gets the best deal if marriage breaks down when it comes to the kids. Almost every time.
So by gain i don't mean i got married because i actually hoped or thought i'd gain something out of it.....but just rather question why bother with the fuss, cost in the first place.
My wedding was fine. Vegas, so was part of our vacation.
A wedding here though costs fucking silly money. For what one day ? Then before you know it the amount of people i know that had their "dream wedding" are now seperate...

It had high costs here as well, but we did it as 35ish adults not 20ish kids. It did worth the cost to see all our friends from all 'episodes' of our lives at one place together, feeling fine. There was 120 ppl there, approx 25 kids. We hired entertainers so parents can have fun, and paid for their rooms so they can drink and stay at the same very nice place until next noon, when we had 'afterparty' in our own house with those who wanted to stay for longer. Nothing really special happened there, but it was superb to just simply 'be with these people' , drink, smoke, have fun..

There are hard times in every marriage, and it is always easier to step out and look for a better life out-of-marriage, but I never went for the easier way ever in my life. I was close to want to 'divorce' a few times in my past, and I am SO FUCKING HAPPY I did not divorce but worked out all the issues.
