Their only target audience (right now) are people that are into crypto, which is still a small niche audience, especially because most aren't even interested in the "product" but are only buying "to get rich quick". Might work during a bull run but their entire target audience will be gone when the BTC price drops in value for another x boring years in a row...
Literally everyone is in it for the profits - the models selling NFT's, the buyers looking to flip those for profit, and of course the developers since they are the largest share holders. When there's no profits to be made, what's left? That's a pretty damn shitty business model if you'd ask me.
Did buy a few $cummies a few weeks ago though
