This is kinda sad, really.
Why were these underage users creating an account by uploading fake ids? Because they knew they didn't have the legal age to be allowed on the platform. So they put some thought into it, trying to figure out a way on how to cheat the system, even though they knew exactly that what they were doing is illegal.
They never cared about the fact they were doing something illegal, they rather wanted to commit a crime in order to earn some cash... again, illegally... also, while being complete hypocrites for not giving a single fuck about what consequences their actions might have for a platform/company, so I guess you can add being selfish to the list as well.
One might assume that those who commit an actual crime are usually the criminals in a story, yet, somehow, rules of logic don't often seem to apply to news media websites these days, because of course, OF is the "big bad guy" in the article, and not these poor (hypocrite) girls which committed fraud for their own benefits.
Journalist know damn well that clickbait articles generate 10x more revenue... Any adult company makes an easy target, as they would likely get very little sympathy and support from the "masses", which makes them a perfect scapegoat. They are exploiting and taking advantage of the public image of an adult company by simply swapping victim roles here, just to turn it into an (easier to sell) clickbait article.
Basically, news media like that are fucking a company without their consent, and exploit them for one reason only - their own financial benefits (in ad revenue). I guess that makes them kinda modern day "pimps".

Then things get worse when "The Church People" start getting involved by using those same type of "clickbait articles" as an excuse to exploit that company even further, for their own personal gains, hoping to score "a free ticket to Heaven" by saving people that don't even want or need to be saved in the first place. Makes them kinda pimps too, just not the smartest ones.

OF isn't perfect, I mean, they did screw over affiliates big time, so one might call it Karma, but whether you like a certain company or not, I would seriously be worried if eventually OF does decide that sacrificing most of their entire revenue outweighs the risk of keeping adult content on...
