That actually made me laugh. Dear, why not just remove the skype ID and then only give it to people via email if they need to live chat.
I'd
probably pick the quicker communication as well if given the option. At least what you THINK would be quicker.
I prefer phones and unfortunately, a lot of people working over the net ie programmers, designers etc usually don't.
