What happens when your supplies run out? Money may be worthless. Just because you practice shooting doesn't mean you can go go up against groups of bandits. Your best bet, IMO, is to unite with like-minded people. Good people with good intentions and a plan.
Number 6 - This one is the most difficult to comprehend. Did you watch the video? No matter how much food you store, it likely won't be enough. Besides, if you're eating and everyone else is starving, it won't be long before they show up at your door, wherever you are.

Nice reply. Yes, I agree, totally. These are just the basics to get past the shock of what happened, i.e., cause. Also, it really all depends on this cause—civil unrest from a country collapse, solar flares, to a meteor, etc. Again, enough to survive to understand how truly fucked you are and weigh options. Six leans to people with kids, but again you are right if you don't have a long-term strategy.
That said, like-minded people change depending on the immediate needs of their kids/family/starving. Also, If you live in the States, you'd know Americans are the most heavily medicated people on the planet. Way past not getting an essential prescription for things like heart disease, diabetes, etc., but anti-d's to even pot mixed with 300 million firearms. The collateral repercussion (your point) is phase two of simple seven.
That would be to treat everyone as if they were junkies.
