Haha, well, welcome to the club of Delonghi owners then.
It works for me, is a winner on space and power, and you should be able to make good milk for the cappuccino once you practice a little. It's semi-manual, so you will be one of the factors that influences how good your coffee turns out. Also, gotta take care of it and actually do the upkeep as detailed in the instructions, or the frother will get calcinated and goodbye cappuccino.
If it was up to me and nothing but my wants mattered, I'd have a Faema Legend, but whoever has that much kitchen counter space, wants to spend 10k EUR at least, and wants to power that baby the whole time... noone... I also in no way need it - there's literally no reason to have one of these unless you plan to serve up 100 cups a day and more... but I love that machine like some love pink Cadillacs or those bulky Hummer cars - it's useless in daily life, but deserves love in its purest form for being magnificent.
