So, I let the guy meet me as they wanted. I DIDN'T wear a disguise like I usually do (I left the wig and dress inside) I gave him the password, and I didn't complain when he requested to take photos of me, holding the sealed parcel...
I thanked him, waited for him to leave, picked up something from my garden and went back inside my house. I carefully opened the outer brown packaging, then opened the xbox box from the side, in an unusual way.
After removing the xbox I then placed the brick from my garden inside the box and took a photo of it...
Straight on the phone to Amazon, shouting bloody murder about after all the performance they had put me through, that instead of my xbox, they sent me a brick! I ordered a new xbox I told them - Not a returned item ! I was FURIOUS!
I had to wait for a higher up to contact me via email, where I replied in a similarly disgusted way, and included the time stamped photo, taken only minutes after the delivery was made... I also told them that I was NOT paying to send it back and that they need to send someone to collect it.
I didn't receive a reply to that email, but I got a phone call instead, and again, I recount the terrible experience Id had and how my little boy had gone to bed in tears that night... I told them that he was so trauma-tised and upset that I had t go out and purchase another xbox from a local store, and that I wont be bothering to use amazon again ! When are you going to pick up the house brick???
Full apology from amazon, who just can't understand how it happened. They were going to send mre another xbox, but as I had had to buy another anyway, they would insead refund my money and they asked me to dispose of the brick myself as it wasn't something they wished to collect....
