Well, it's hard to match a cast iron skillet. I still swear by them also; air fryer is the
best competitor by far.

The thing people don't understand about Air Friers is that its not about being "healthy" per se. It's about the convenience of frying food (or otherwise heating food) without needing to use oil and deal with the huge mess. Seriously, for reheating fries or fried cheese - I can order mozzarella sticks for delivery - and sticking them in the device for a few minutes to have it taste like it came straight out of the kitchen.
People think it's like that you're trying to be extra healthy, but no, it's like I can have all kinds of great food and it tastes awesome without the hassle

I'm making wings right now with zero oil.
Half way through and they look great.
I don't have to stand over the stove, no chance of grease fire, no splatter, no smoke...

This one lets you sinc the cooking time for different foods in the baskets so it all finishes at the same time.
