That is a broad question. A lot depends on various factors: who is your audience (age, education, sex, cultural background, etc.) what is the content product or service, and what you have done to captivate the viewer so much that they want to share it with others.
I'm an educated white male in his 50s. I do not share porn with friends, family, colleagues, neighbors, or strangers for that matter. Roll the time machine back to my being a young kid, there was a small group of us boys that were tight, and we passed the dirty magazines around. Make sense?
Mainstream wise, the average product, service or story does nothing to motivate me to share it with anyone. It has to be way out there funny, disturbing, or relevant to something that I know someone in my circle is looking for.
If you dare to share the general idea of what you want to pitch on the internet, let the good folks here at GFY share their infamous wisdom with you, or at the least steal the concept and run with it themselves. Either way ... good luck!
