The fundamental argument comes down to this:
If you want 3 masks, vaccines and to stay home then that's a perfectly fine thing to want and to do. Go ahead and do just that, it's fine and we'll still be friends.
But don't force any of that on me. You wouldn't want anything forced on you in any other context. If you're scared that you'll catch covid from me because I'm not vaxxed, you're wrong; vaxxed are spreading a lot right now between themselves. If you scared of catching covid from me because I'm not wearing a mask, well masks do nothing but if you believe they do something then you'd have to be careful of thousands of people everyday and be in fight-or-flight mode every time you leave the house because many people are wearing them wrong.
In that case why not just stay home? Leave the rest of us alone?
You don't stay home because you want to go out and have fun. And you're not as afraid as you say you are or else you wouldn't leave the house.
This is political, my tribe against yours; and emotional, I project my anxiety onto something outside of me. People who do what the left wants are 'good' and people who do what the right wants are 'bad'.
If you're truly afraid ask yourself why you're leaving the house? Being vaxxed and masked won't protect you from catching it. And if you argue that vaccines will protect you from hospital then great! You're fine, stop worrying about me then. But you can't. You have to tell me what to do, and control my life so you can feel validated. If the outer world doesn't do what you want them to do then you force them to because you feel insecure in your position - just like a BLM protester. The BLM protestor has to change our language and the way we live to fit their ideal so they can feel good about themselves - they force us.
Same is happening here.
