Okay, I've got another funny one...
It was in the Spring of 2019 and I had left the US once again because I realized my girlfriend was a wanted criminal in several states. I decided to go to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico for the first time where I met a 20 year old bartender from Florida within a few days. She had fled The States, as she told me her boyfriend stole $50k worth of marijuana from the farm they both had worked at in Colorado and didn't want to get caught up in the "drama".
She had a new boyfriend who was a local Mexican guy, but I learned from a couple patrons at the bar that she was interested in me. Having just been heart broken by my deceitful ex back in New Orleans, I was not interested in a woman who was willing to cheat as she would just do the same to me as well. I was fine just going to the bar every other day where she worked at to hang out and have a few drinks and meet other tourists.
One night, I agreed to meet her at a bar in the Romantic Zone of Puerto Vallarta. So I take a taxi to meet her. The driver drops me off up the street near a popular gay club called Mr. Flamingo. The club is on a corner and has a tiki bar type theme and has no walls on 2 sides, so it's easy to see the outside streets from inside.
I step out the taxi and begin to walk towards a shoulder-to-shoulder packed Mr. Flamingo with intentions of heading past to another bar. In synchronism, over 100 gay men all turn around to see me walking towards the club.
Being the center of attention of so many people made me a bit nervous. Everyone is quiet, anxiously awaiting my arrival into the club. Then, one guy says "heeee's heeerrreeee" as if everyone was just waiting for me. I couldn't help but be amused with a sheepish grin on my face as I strolled by on the sidewalk to another bar up the street to meet my young lady friend.
