That wait is growing longer every day.
I acknowledge that there are lots of nuances to this problem, but by far the biggest issue is that the demand for urgent care for unvaccinated Covid patients is the primary culprit. The hospital system is being projected to fully collapse within 1-2 weeks where patients will be triaged and some left to palliative care without being treated.
This is now affecting all medical conditions, not just Covid.
So talk out of your asses all you want, the warnings were obvious and even the Lock Down was too little too late. Can any of you admit you were wrong to resist the urgent measures? Does anyone feel even a little bit bad that you being selfish has meant the vulnerable people can't even get hospital care now? Maybe if you had embraced the urgent request for you to consider the good of the whole community instead of your own selfish "right to party" that good people wouldn't be suffering as much as they are now.
It breaks my heart that there are people who don't care about the welfare of their fellow humans in need. And for something as trivial as being afraid of needles. Just so sad.
