Really sucked for me as I ended up having to play project manager in order to get work out of him, a role I did not want to be in.
Sucks for him too because the client is really good to work for. When he told them what he was going to charge they told him he was way low and at least doubled up the amount and then, if I remember right, gave him some up front.
I don't know if he ever finished the project or not. I do know that he went way past the deadline that he had agreed to.
That was the last business I passed his way.

most of us are solo here. that means you gotta get up and work. put down that drink/pipe/remote and churn out the work every day. i worked all weekend (as usual) to get a project delivered for a client. that kind of grind isn't for everybody. most people just want to be told what to do and forget about it when they clock out.
