And when was the mythical generation of kids that wasn't raised by women? Arguably men play more of a role now, since the 1970s and modern feminism, than before.

Honestly, I didn't like Brad Pitt at first when he came onto the Hollywood scene in the 90s because I was jealous of him, because so many women found him so attractive. It didn't take me long to realize hating him and acting like the countless other boys who were jealous of me wasn't going to help and I should figure out what it was that made him so attractive to women.

I've never given it any thought, and I'm not really bothered by what 90% of anyone thinks about anything. What's the point? You can live your life striving to meet the approval of other people if you want, but it doesn't sound like 'being a man' to me.
