A number of people here automatically assume that because there's something bad happening to a webmaster he's the one who f...c.ed up and cb had "its reasons". The benefit of the doubts seems to be weighing in favor of the corporation.
All is well so long as you get paid and nothing happens to YOU.
Anyone should at a minimum admit that it is not easy to get in touch with them. Especially now that Steve is gone. Every other sponsors I work with has a Skype contact, nothing ever escalate or hangs because both sides can clarify and rectify promptly if there's anything.
