Yes, media buy is how I run my business today. Currently doing around +20% overall.
I can say that if you're not on flat rates you are spending more than your competitors. Expecting to burn $400 through self serve and get any kind of meaningful data from a brokered offer just shows one doesn't know what they're doing.

I guess with own funnels and own offers. Going head on with generic offers and no budget is a dead end for sure.
