Now THIS is what I find offensive and, if I were a black person, would find it even more so. You are saying I (as a black person say) do not have the capacity to identify with a character who does not look and sound like me? Huh.
So i guess (as a black person) I am just dumb, too stupid and ignorant and have no imagination. Okay - so then I, as a white person, cannot identify with Eddie Murphy in Beverly Hills Cop, or Will Smith in Independence Day.
How insulting, limiting and racist.
************** And to all those thinking I am a triggered racist: how can I be if I am calling for an all-black Lord Of The Rings that I think would be kick-ass awesome? Hmm? Think about that one please. ****************
