Everybody used Nazis. For example only in Soviet Union more than a million of Germans (Nazis and just soldiers) were working to labor camps.
But we are not talking about Nazis. We are talking about Wernher von Braun - a single man worth a billion or regular Nazis. And he was behind the co-called American space program including the Moon program as well.
Every historically significant person (bad or evil) had thousands of helpers (e.g. Napoleon, Lenin, Stalin, Hitler, von Braun, Tesla, Korolev etc) but those helpers are nothing w/o one single key man that gathered them together and managed the whole project...
