I'm keeping an eye on this thread, as I have wondered the same for years.

There are quite a few in the game. We have used Lemonade.com for homeowner/renter policies for three years now. Found them to be 50-65% cheaper than the traditional brands like StateFarm, AllState, etc., especially noticeable with higher payout 1 MM + policies.

I mention this, as they now offer pet insurance.
